This emergency stop switch by Delock interrupts the power supply to a machine or system in order to shut it down quickly and safely in an emergency. Emergency stop switches are used, for example, in industry, in control and regulation technology. They are also found in the automotive sector as well as in the consumer market.
Push and turn
In an emergency, the switch head is pressed. Depending on the wiring configuration, the circuit either opens or closes to safely shut down the machine or system, or to trigger a signal.
To reset or unlock the switch, the head must be turned clockwise. It then springs back to its original position and is ready for use again.
Signal or Warning Trigger
Due to its circuitry, the mushroom head switch can also be used for other applications, for example, to trigger a reset, activate a warning light, or send a signal to a control system.
Please Note
The installation should only be carried out by qualified electricians in compliance with the usual national power supply guidelines.
Grounding is necessary for low-voltage systems to ensure the safety and functionality of the system.
