De 2A-130G VGA EDID emulator is ontwikkeld voor installaties met ATEN KVM-uitbreidingen of grafische splitters waar er geen lokale monitor is op de locatie van de computer of signaalbron. De 2A-130G emuleert en slaat ATEN's standaard Extended Display Identification Information (EDID) instellingen op in een niet-vluchtig geheugen. Hierdoor kan de computer of de signaalbron een monitor herkennen, ook al is er geen aangesloten.
